Who is responsible
Cátia Freitas is responsible for processing messages received through the D4HE contact page. For privacy matters, write to passion.design@gmail.com.
Data you provide
The form asks for your name, email and message. Organisation, country and context are optional. The form prepares an email on your device: the fields are not sent to a website database or saved in your browser’s local storage. I only receive the message after you send it through your email app.
How the data is used
The data received is used to respond to your enquiry, clarify questions and prepare a proposal when requested. Service enquiries are processed to take pre-contractual steps at your request; other contacts are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in replying to correspondence addressed to D4HE.
Sending a message does not sign you up to a newsletter. The website does not include automated decision-making or visitor profiling.
Message retention
Emails relating to enquiries that do not lead to a service are deleted 12 months after the last contact. If the contact leads to a service, retention of the associated records will be determined by the contractual relationship and applicable legal obligations.
Services used
Messages sent to the address shown are received through Google’s Gmail service. The website is hosted on Netlify. These services process the data necessary for email, access, security and the operation of their respective platforms.
Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts, which establishes a connection to Google’s servers. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the terms and safeguards described in their policies. See Google’s policy and Netlify’s privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the applicable terms, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, use the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission.
Cookies and external links
Information about services loaded during browsing is available on the page about cookies and external services. When you follow a link to another website, that service’s practices apply.
